This 5,917 metres Par 71 course has hosted many thrilling championships over the years. Set in rolling parkland the course features surprising challenging Par 3 holes along with numerous large undulating green s which are bound to test even the most seasoned professionals. The Jimmy Bolger stock club shop provides all the necessary equipment with trolleys and buggies available for hire. Green fees are a very reasonable €25 in the winter and from €35 to €45 in the summer.
Just 15km from Kilkenny city lies the old and revered Callan Golf Club. The 18 hole, 6362 Yards course features many water and bunker hazards. As one of the oldest clubs in the area it is still well liked by all who visit due to its challenging design and immaculate upkeep. Fees are €25 midweek and €30 on the weekend with buggies and trolleys available to hire. Buggies should be reserved in advance.
